Responsibilities:

What You'll Do





  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and expert repairs on guest rooms and mechanical equipment.
  • Conduct complex preventative maintenance and repairs for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and resolve maintenance issues with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions, document findings, and communicate necessary corrective actions to supervisors.
  • Support the Chief Engineer in overseeing the engineering function of the ranch.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools are returned to their designated storage.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address any maintenance concerns and support overall operations.
  • Train and provide technical advice to fellow maintenance staff as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain fire alarm and life safety systems, ensuring readiness in emergencies.
  • Promote energy conservation and report any ideas for efficiency improvements.
  • Complete work assignments efficiently and within allocated time frames, ensuring minimal rework.


What You'll Bring





  • Strong skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and a desire to continuously learn and develop trade-specific skills.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and general maintenance practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
