This Maintenance Technician position is based across a large and beautiful university estate, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within a structured and professional environment, with consistent workload and long-term job security.
The Role
* General building fabric maintenance across campus buildings
* Plumbing repairs to sanitary ware and associated pipework
* Carpentry tasks including doors, ironmongery, shelving and fittings
* Minor roofing, guttering and external fabric repairs
The Person
* NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or time-served equivalent
* Strong building maintenance background
* Able to work independently and manage workload
* Professional, customer-focused approach
* Full UK driving licence
Hours, Overtime & Call-Out
* 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday
* Paid overtime available
* Call-out rota approx. 1 in 4-5 weekends
* £2,700 annual call-out rota payment
* Standby: £38.20 weekday / £70.20 weekend or bank holiday
