Maintenance TechnicianFull Time - must be flexible to work assigned shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed A local manufacturing factory is seeking a skilled and dependable maintenance technician to support daily operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. Responsibilities
Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and modify PLC-controlled equipment
Read, interpret, and update electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical drawings
Maintain facility systems including lighting, plumbing, and general building repairs
Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements
Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Strong controls wiring and troubleshooting experience
Ability to read manuals, schematics, and work instructions
Basic hand and power tool proficiency
PLC experience required (Allen Bradley experience or working knowledge preferred)
CAD experience a plus
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Solid understanding of basic and intermediate electrical troubleshooting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
