Join a Mission-Driven Facilities Team Supporting Critical Federal Operations

Salary: $25.29 per hour base (additional comp including $1500 signing bonus)
Schedule: M-F 7AM-3PM

Overview: We are seeking a dependable and motivated General Maintenance Worker to support daily operations and facility maintenance within a commercial building environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting, repair work, and helping maintain safe and efficient facility operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility
  • Repair sinks, faucets, doors, locks, and other building components
  • Complete light carpentry work and drywall patching/repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities to support overall facility operations
  • Install and repair locks, hardware, and related building systems
  • Safely operate hand tools and power tools to complete assigned work
  • Assist in maintaining safe, clean, and properly functioning common areas and building systems
  • Follow all workplace and facility safety procedures
  • Support additional maintenance and repair activities as needed
Requirements:
  • Experience in general building maintenance preferred
  • Working knowledge of basic carpentry, drywall repair, and general plumbing repairs
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance practices preferred
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures required
  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver s license preferred
  • Work will be performed within a commercial facility environment
  • Exposure to tools, equipment, maintenance materials, and varying facility conditions may occur
  • Ability to perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the workday required
