Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a dynamic General Manager 2 to lead food service operations at the Federal Reserve Bank of Charlotte. This is a highly visible, on‑site leadership role within a professional, weekday‑only environment—ideal for an experienced food service leader who enjoys ownership, client partnership, and team development.

 

About the Operation

The Charlotte Federal Reserve location features a streamlined, high‑quality food program designed to serve employees and special events:

  • One Café with 3 stations
  • Breakfast and Lunch service only (Monday–Friday)
  • Catering operations, including daily business catering and special events

Incentives

Predominately a M-F schedule with occassional evenings and weekends

What You'll Do

As the #1 on‑site leader, you will have full responsibility for the success of the operation—overseeing people, performance, and the client experience.

 

Operational & Financial Leadership

  • Lead day‑to‑day café and catering operations with a focus on quality, service, and efficiency
  • Manage the budget, forecasting, and financial performance of the account
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo standards, food safety, and client expectations

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Federal Reserve Bank of Charlotte
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance service, programs, and overall satisfaction

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 1 salaried managers and 4 hourly employees
  • Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable team culture
  • Support talent development, performance management, and succession planning
