Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 to lead dining operations for West Warwick Public Schools, a long-standing K-12 partnership in central Rhode Island. This role oversees a comprehensive child nutrition program serving the district through the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs, Summer Food Service Program, Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Dinner Program, and the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership focused on food safety, financial performance, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and fostering healthy food choices that support student success.

What You"ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day management of food service operations across the school district, ensuring exceptional service and program compliance
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and achieving operational targets
  • Ensure compliance with USDA regulations, federal and state nutrition requirements, food safety standards, and Sodexo policies
  • Develop, coach, and engage frontline managers and employees to build a strong, service-focused team culture
  • Foster positive partnerships with district administrators, staff, students, families, and community stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and student participation

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's degree with academic major in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or a related field

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 4 years of relevant school nutrition programs experience
