Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4 - Food for MedStar Harbor Hospital located in Baltimore, MD. MedStar Harbor Hospital is a private nonprofit, 150-bed, acute care teaching hospital. It is located on South Hanover Street along the Middle Branch of the Patapsco River in the Cherry Hill neighborhood of South Baltimore. 

 

 

We are looking for an experienced healthcare food service leader with a passion for innovation, training, process improvement, and team building. This position will oversee all food services including, retail, patient, and catering services. 

What You'll Do:
  • have oversight of day-to-day operations
  • deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations 
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals  
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships (i.e., comfortable in c-suite settings where communication skills are imperative when serving as top level site management)
  • develop strategic plans 
  • ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance

  • has healthcare experience;
  • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and has a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities, as needed.
