Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000/year (plus up to 10% performance bonus and comprehensive benefits package)

A leading global food services provider is seeking a high-performing General Manager 4 to lead campus dining operations at the prestigious University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) in Winston-Salem, NC. In this senior-level onsite role, you will hold complete operational and financial accountability for a diverse multi-outlet portfolio, including a Resident Dining Hall, a coffee shop, two retail locations, a convenience store, and campus catering/vending. What You'll Own
- Direct all day-to-day contract food service management operations across multiple onsite retail, residential, and catering outlets.
- Maintain full ownership of the account's financial targets, including budgeting, labor allocation, cash control, and payroll records.
- Manage, mentor, and develop an onsite administrative and supervisory team to ensure operational excellence.
- Act as the primary, senior-most liaison to build and sustain strong, collaborative relationships with university stakeholders and clients.
- Oversee back-of-house (BOH) culinary production, ensuring strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Plan and supervise high-profile special functions and campus catering events.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of formal general management experience within contracted/managed food services (such as campus, hospital, or institutional dining).
- 5+ years of hands-on culinary production and back-of-house (BOH) management experience.
- Strong, verifiable track record of financial accountability, P&L management, and budgeting.
- Demonstrated leadership in employee engagement, team building, and managing through subordinate supervisors.
- Proficient computer skills and experience utilizing specialized Food Management Systems for inventory and reporting.
- Active, valid U.S. Driver's License.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience managing contracted food service operations specifically within a higher education/university environment.
- Professional food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent).
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
