Position Overview
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations including team leadership, guest experience, financial performance, talent development, and operational systems. This role requires a servant leader who can inspire others, execute at a high level, and foster a culture of care, accountability, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team
- Create a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and growth
- Recruit, train, and retain top talent
- Mentor future leaders within the organization
Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure excellence in food quality, speed, cleanliness, and guest experience
- Maintain Chick-fil-A operational standards and systems
- Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with all safety and food handling procedures
Financial Performance
- Manage labor, food cost, and operational budgets
- Drive profitability while maintaining exceptional guest service
- Monitor KPIs and execute strategies to improve results
Guest Experience
- Foster a culture of genuine hospitality
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
- Build strong community relationships and represent the brand positively
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience
- Proven ability to lead teams in a high-volume environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and Saturdays
- Passion for leadership development and guest service
Preferred
- Restaurant or hospitality leadership experience
- Multi-unit or high-volume management experience
- Experience with coaching and team development systems
- Financial management and business operations experience
