Commonwealth Hotels is seeking an experienced and results-oriented General Manager to lead the award-winning Courtyard by Marriott Dayton Beavercreek. Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for hotel operations.
• Achieve financial objectives including revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
• Lead, coach, and develop department leaders and hotel associates.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and service delivery.
• Drive revenue management, sales, and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain brand standards and operational compliance.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance and implement improvement strategies.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive work environment.
• Build strong relationships with guests, associates, ownership, and community partners.
• Ensure compliance with all company, brand, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of General Manager experience in a branded hotel environment.
• Marriott experience strongly preferred.
• Proven record of achieving financial and operational goals.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Experience managing hotel budgets, P&L, forecasting, and revenue strategies.
• Demonstrated success in guest satisfaction and associate engagement.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.

• Courtyard by Marriott experience
• Select-service hotel leadership experience
• Revenue management knowledge
• Sales and market strategy experience
• Talent development and succession planning

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to navigate all areas of the hotel property.
