The General Manager will lead both the business and team operations of the school. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences with families, maintaining high lesson and safety standards, driving revenue growth, and building a positive, high-performing team culture. You’ll work closely with the upper-level management team to ensure daily operations run smoothly while developing future leaders within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Operations
Recruit, hire, train, and support staff of 20-30 people alongside the upper-level management team
Oversee onboarding and development of new managers
Lead weekly management meetings and support daily operations
Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
Ensure opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, and safety standards are consistently met
Customer Experience
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
Ensure policies, procedures, and new initiatives are implemented effectively
Build strong relationships with families and maintain high service standards
Monitor and respond to customer feedback and reviews
Sales & Financial Performance
Monitor revenue, enrollment, conversions, and sales trends
Set and support weekly and monthly performance goals
Support customer retention and re-enrollment efforts
Assist with payroll management, scheduling, and cost control
Oversee school financials and operational efficiency
Administrative Duties
Manage scheduling, payroll, and staffing needs
Coordinate billing preparation and enrollment follow-up
Maintain accurate records, receipts, and invoices
Support staff evaluations, meetings, and ongoing training initiatives
Required Qualifications: What You’ll Bring
Previous management 2+ experience of managing a minimum of 10+ employees, ideally 20-30 employees
Enjoys interacting with people, customers, colleagues, employees, etc. Outgoing, caring, and friendly personality.
Strong leadership, excellent verbal and written communication, and organizational/ prioritization skills
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and meet deadlines
Experience coaching teams and holding others accountable. Ability to be diplomatic when difficult conversations arise - ability to de-escalate if/when necessary.
Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to build and maintain a positive team culture
Strong experience working with systems, MAC/Apple technology
Must have a background in sales and customer service
