General Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-volume, full-service restaurant. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue, managing financial performance, developing a strong leadership team, and ensuring consistent execution of operational and service standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead all daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, food quality, and safety.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop both hourly team members and management personnel.
• Build and maintain a high-performing team while fostering a positive, accountable restaurant culture.
• Drive sales and profitability while effectively managing labor, food, and operating expenses.
• Own restaurant-level P&L performance and utilize financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver a consistently high-quality guest experience and address customer concerns professionally and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, labor, and alcohol service regulations.
• Execute company marketing initiatives while supporting local community engagement and relationship-building efforts.
• Maintain strong operational standards across service, kitchen execution, cleanliness, and overall restaurant presentation.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities to improve operational performance, employee retention, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of restaurant management experience, with prior General Manager experience strongly preferred.
• Experience operating a high-volume, full-service, casual dining, sports bar, or similar restaurant concept.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and develop managers and hourly employees.
• Strong understanding of restaurant P&L management, labor optimization, food cost, and controllable expenses.
• Demonstrated history of improving sales, profitability, team performance, and guest satisfaction.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of food safety, labor regulations, and responsible alcohol service.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a proven restaurant operator who has experience leading high-volume, full-service, sports-bar, casual dining, or other complex restaurant environments.

We are particularly interested in leaders with a minimum of 5 years of General Manager experience who have managed large teams, maintained rigorous operational standards, driven financial performance, and consistently delivered strong guest experiences.

Strong candidates from high-volume, systems-driven fast-casual and quick-service concepts will also be considered, particularly those who have demonstrated success managing large teams, optimizing labor, maintaining operational consistency, and executing against detailed brand standards.
