The Skinny Pancake is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our high-visibility University of Vermont location. This is a unique opportunity to run a beloved campus restaurant with the support of a seasoned Operations and HR team while still having the autonomy to shape the culture, systems, and success.

What You'll Do
Lead daily operations with a focus on hospitality, quality, and efficiency
Recruit, train, and mentor a high performing team
Build a positive, inclusive workplace culture
Manage financial performance, inventory, ordering, and scheduling
Ensure smooth service during peak campus hours
Strengthen relationships with UVM partners and the broader Burlington community
Uphold our mission of local sourcing and sustainable practices
What You Bring
3+ years of restaurant management experience (GM or AGM level)
A leadership style rooted in empathy, accountability, and communication
Strong operational skills you know how to run a tight ship
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
Ability to coach, motivate, and develop a diverse team
Comfort working in a fast paced, high volume environment
A desire to be part of a mission driven, community minded company
