Job Summary
We are hiring a General Manager to join our team at J&M Services of Miami Valley. This is a key leadership role that combines office administration with hands on project coordination. The right candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast paced construction environment. This position will be primarily office based with regular job site visits to ensure quality and project progress. As General Manager you will play a critical role in the day to day operations and continued growth of our company.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion
- Process and track employee timecards accurately
- Coordinate purchasing of materials and supplies for active projects
- Schedule and confirm material deliveries to job sites
- Conduct job site visits to monitor quality control and project progress
- Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors, suppliers, and team members
- Oversee day to day administrative duties to keep operations running smoothly
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Utilize Jobber CRM to manage projects, scheduling, and client information
- Support ownership with various operational and strategic tasks as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in a construction management or operations role preferred
- Proficiency with Jobber or similar construction CRM software is a plus
- Basic to intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excell
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work within a small team environment
- Valid drivers license required
- Class A or Class B CDL is a plus but not required
