A Sonic General Manager is the Captain of their own ship! You will lead a team toward goals that can be

very professionally and financially rewarding for you!

As a SONIC Drive-In General Manager, you will lead your team in an on-going effort to give our guests a Great Service Experience! You will be in charge of training and supporting drive-in employees, ensuring that food and service is delivered in a clean, safe, and efficient manner to the most loyal fans in the industry!

Essential General Manager job duties are listed below:

\u25cfManages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/ Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops

\u25cfDirects and assigns drive-in employees as needed to ensure operational standards are met

\u25cfAdheres to and monitors employee compliance of the drive-in employee handbook, policies and practices

\u25cfPerforms restaurant opening and/or closing duties

\u25cfPrepares employee work schedules; monitors and makes appropriate adjustments to restaurant staffing levels

\u25cfMonitors and maintains inventory levels. Places orders for food, paper and other supplies as needed

\u25cfCompletes and maintains all drive-in employment related records and payroll records

\u25cfReinforces a "customer first" culture and ensures all employees are focused on "Fast, Fresh, and Friendly"

\u25cfResolves guest requests. Reports guest complaints to immediate supervisor and resolves guest complaints

\u25cfInterview and hire restaurant crew and management team members to achieve proper staffing levels

\u25cfDevelops action plans to resolve unfavorable operational or financial trends

Additional General Manager Requirements:

\u25cfHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Studies in business, management or related fields are helpful

\u25cfMinimum of two (6) Months of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)

\u25cfKnowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices

\u25cfKnowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations

\u25cfLeadership and supervisory practices and skills; effective verbal and written communication skills

\u25cfThe ability to work days, nights and week-ends (some holidays as well) \u25cfWillingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC
