Location: 5419 Page Road, DURHAM, NC, 27703 Department: Operations Title: General Manager Reports To: Operations Manager and above Job Purpose Statement: To develop, support and lead the restaurant team to success by achieving sales growth through implementing and maintaining the highest standards in quality, service and cleanliness. Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years old (or meet State regulated age to sell alcohol if applicable), be available 7 days per week and/or as needed to satisfy successful operation of the restaurant, be certified through the Moe's training program and complete the 30-day probationary period. Job Functions: Enthusiastically greet all guests with a hearty "Welcome to Moe's" when they enter the restaurant. Interview and hire staff to operate the restaurant based on company standards and in compliance with State and Federal regulations. Schedule sufficient staff to operate the restaurant and accommodate guest flow while in compliance of company labor cost standards. Train and develop management and crew by ensuring the current company training program is being followed. Evaluate performance at company designated intervals and design development plans with employees to improve performance. Maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships with management and team. Provide coaching, counselling and progressive discipline as warranted. Conduct crew meetings prior to shifts to discuss operational procedures, promotions, security, training, safety, etc. Control inventory by maintaining an adequate supply of products and items to meet company GAP/Variance and COGS standards. Maintain reports and records as specified by company standards and in compliance of State and Federal regulations. Maintain building and equipment using proper operating, cleaning and preventative maintenance procedures. Responsible for adhering and enforcing all cash procedures. Ensure personal appearance always meets company standards and display professionalism. Recognize and adhere to all sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures to provide a safe environment for all. Consistently exhibit the actions/behaviors which best demonstrate Moe's Vision and Values; perform other tasks as directed by management; and at all times represent Moe's as a professional in every aspect of performance.M

Moe's Southwest Grill began in Atlanta, Georgia. There are currently over 600 restaurants nationwide with more opening every week. Moe's is continuing to expand in Northeast Ohio with our newest locations opening in Mayfield Heights.
