POSITION SUMMARY:
The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel. He/she should be an ambassador for the brand and the hotel, provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximize operations and drive profits while growing market share.
GM DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PREREQUISITES:
The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly intelligent hotel professional with outstanding, management skills and extensive hands-on experience with a track record of success. Previous brand specific experience, in a similar role is highly desired, but not required.
EDUCATION:
A degree in hospitality management is preferred but not required.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a hotel GM, Assistant GM or in a leadership role with equivalent responsibility is required. Experience using Lightspeed PMS is required. Experience using M3 Financial software, running payroll and recruiting is required.
