General Manager , Home Services (non-HVAC)

Boise / Nampa, Idaho 

Location: Boise / Nampa, Idaho, on-site with some in-state travel 

Compensation: $175,000 to $200,000 base + 30% bonus target + equity 

Sitreps is hiring a General Manager on behalf of a private-equity-backed home-services rollup (non-HVAC) with multiple locations in Idaho. This is a full profit-and-loss leadership seat: you will own the Idaho business end to end, run day-to-day operations, and set it up for its next phase of growth. 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

You will run a hands-on, multi-location operating business with a team of roughly 40 people. The first phase is operational: get into the details, tighten margin, and learn the business inside and out. From there it becomes a growth seat, as you build the operating system for the next phase and open up new opportunities in the region. You will also build trust with long-standing local leaders and customers and become the face of the business in the market. 

WHAT YOU WILL OWN 

  • Full P&L for the business: revenue, margin, cost, and growth. 
  • Day-to-day operations across multiple locations, working through service-line managers, project managers, crew leads, sales, and site leaders. Margin discipline and the operational rigor to know which levers to pull, and when. 
  • People leadership and change management for the full team. 
  • Stewardship of key local relationships in the market. 
  • Top-line growth: a regional growth plan and close partnership with the sales team. 

WHAT YOU BRING 

  • Prior P&L leadership: ownership, partial ownership, or a role with real, measurable P&L impact. 
  • Strong operational leadership; military and other structured operational backgrounds are highly valued. 
  • Field or blue-collar leadership experience, or clear comfort leading a hands-on, multi-site workforce. 
  • A growth mindset that pairs cost and margin discipline with a genuine top-line plan. 
  • The ability to bridge operations and strategy: strong in the details, and able to lift your head up to plan. 
  • Excellent people and change-management skills. 
  • Willingness to be based in the Boise / Nampa area. 

COMPENSATION AND GROWTH 

  • Base salary of $175,000 to $200,000. 
  • 30% annual bonus target. 
  • Equity: an initial grant plus annual growth-based grants. 
  • Relocation support provided as a sign-on bonus.
