Our General Managers in Training oversee all aspects of how their centers operate, from entertainment to food & beverage to the property and its equipment as a whole. Through it all, our General Managers work hard to cultivate an exceptional team environment so that all staff members can perform at a consistently high level. You’re highly attuned to the guest experience, accountable for your performance (and that of the teams you’ll manage), and are a strong team player across the board. You are also an extraordinary problem-solver and trouble-shooter, and have at least a few years of management experience under your belt. The pay rate for this position is $75k-80k Plus Bonus

Bowl America was founded in 1958 with the opening of Washington DC's first tenpin bowling center, Bowl America Shirley. This center still operates today and it is located on Edsall Road and I-395. Bowl America Shirley at the time was the only bowling center to feature automatic pinsetters and underlane ball returns. Bowl America Falls Church and Bowl America Fairfax, both of which are still in operation, were constructed shortly thereafter. The Bowl America family currently has 17 locations in the Metro DC, Baltimore, Maryland, Richmond, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida markets.
Our business model focuses on league development as well as parties of all types. Auxillary sources of revenue include shoe rental along with food and beverage sales. Many of our management employees have more than 25 years of experience with the company, with some managers approaching 50 years of service. It is with this long tenure and knowledge of the bowling industry that our employees have lead to the success of Bowl America.
