General Manager - Landscaping at Stout Creek Landscapes Inc.

Stout Creek Landscapes, Inc. has an outstanding opportunity for a General Manager to lead the organization to our next growth milestone of $10MM. 

Since 1987, Stout Creek Landscapes has been a trusted partner of homeowners and businesses in West Michigan. Our goal is to connect with people by creating beautiful, outdoor living spaces to be enjoyed year-round.  We design, install, and maintain landscaping and hardscaping, along with a wide array of features such as brick patios, water features, retaining walls, outdoor living spaces, beachfronts, lighting, colorful plantings, and more.  

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced, driven General Manager - Landscaping to lead our daily operations and growth. Our General Manager - Landscaping will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies for our high-end residential construction and maintenance clients. Our General Manager - Landscaping will provide strategic thinking and great leadership with an entrepreneurial spirit and a growth mindset to map out the growth plan of our next annual marker $10MM.  

At Stout Landscapes we offer a great work environment and competitive compensation package for this GM position including: 

• A base salary of $110,000-$125,000 plus bonus opportunity

Requirements for our General Manager-Landscaping: 

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience in strategic leadership roles required, MBA a strong plus. 
• 7+ years of strategic leadership experience, including experience achieving results through other leaders. 
• Experience developing and executing a strategic plan for an organization of $10MM+ with a focus on a business in landscape or construction preferred. 
• Proven experience leading and implementing an EOS process. 
• Experience building an organizational culture and development of strategies to support an outstanding work environment. 
• Excellent time management and organizational skills. 
• Strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills. 
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.

• Developing and executing strategies to deliver quality outcomes and operational efficiencies. 
• Achieve profitability goals with year-over-year increases in net profit margins. 
• Creating a positive team culture to drive a great work environment. 
• Leveraging data and metric to monitor key measures of daily operations and to drive the strategic plan for the organization. 
• Coaching and developing team members to achieve results and refine processes. 
• Defining and implementing processes to ensure a positive client experience.
