Milk & Honey, part of Thompson Restaurants, is looking for an energetic, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead the restaurant and bring our brand to life every day. As the leader of the restaurant, you’ll have ownership of the day-to-day operation, from driving sales and profitability to developing your management team, maintaining operational standards, and creating a culture where people want to work and guests want to return. You’ll be visible on the floor, engaged with your team and guests, and accountable for delivering an outstanding experience every shift.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily restaurant operations, including kitchen and front-of-house activities.
• Lead and develop staff, ensuring a cohesive and efficient team.
• Ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability.
• Maintain adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.
• Requires 50–55 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as business needs dictate.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership and managerial experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Industry knowledge and financial acumen.
• Customer-focused mindset and adaptability.
• Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment.
• Ability to remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40–50 pounds
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Tolerance for exposure to heat, steam, noise, and kitchen equipment
• Ability to operate standard restaurant equipment safely
• Quick response to operational needs and emergency situations
