QUALIFICATIONS
  • Five (5) + years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, or distribution operations. 
  • Proven experience managing warehouse operations, inventory control, transportation, customer service, and fleet maintenance; forklift experience is required. 
  • Strong knowledge of drayage operations, intermodal transportation, port logistics, and DOT compliance; experience with OSHA, HazMat regulations, and ISO quality systems is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated success by leading teams through recruiting, coaching, performance management, and employee development. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience developing operational metrics, reports, standard operating procedures, and process improvements. 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Employment Type & Compensation 

  • Full-Time | Direct Hire position  
  • Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience 
  • Application Period: This position will remain open until filled

  • Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams, promoting a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. 
  • Oversee all warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management, transloading, container loading and deconsolidation, purchase orders, storage, and LTL/FTL shipments while ensuring inventory accuracy and minimizing product loss. 
  • Manage daily drayage operations, dispatch scheduling, fleet maintenance, vehicle inspections, licensing, DOT compliance, and equipment readiness to ensure efficient and on-time customer deliveries. 
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures, monitor KPIs, analyze operational data, prepare reports, and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and optimize overall performance. 
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, HazMat, warehouse safety standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements. 
  • Build strong customer relationships by resolving escalated issues, supporting new customer onboarding, preparing quotations, and collaborating operational solutions to support business growth. 
  • Establish employee performance goals, provide ongoing coaching and development, and drive employee engagement and retention.
