General Manager – Operations & Logistics
Location: Anchorage, AK
About the Opportunity
Join a global leader in aviation support services that operates one of the most complex logistics and production networks in the industry. This confidential opportunity offers the chance to lead a large-scale, 24/7 operation supporting cargo and aviation customers in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
This is far more than a traditional General Manager role. You'll oversee every aspect of the operation—from financial performance and workforce leadership to production, transportation, and customer service. The Anchorage facility is one of the company's most dynamic locations, where changing flight schedules, weather impacts, and operational demands require a leader who can adapt quickly, solve problems in real time, and keep multiple departments aligned.
You'll lead an operation of approximately 170–250 employees, with roughly 10 department managers reporting into you across operations, transportation, production, warehouse, quality, and support functions. Success in this role requires balancing strategic leadership with hands-on operational involvement while developing future leaders, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the operation consistently delivers exceptional service.
If you enjoy leading large teams, improving operations, and making decisions that directly impact business performance, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing global organization.
