Are you an experienced restaurant leader who thrives on building something from the ground up?

Harper Associates has partnered with an exciting new gastropub concept opening in the Bloomfield Hills area and is seeking an accomplished Restaurant General Manager to lead the restaurant through its pre-opening and grand opening phases. This is a rare opportunity to establish the culture, build the team, and create an exceptional guest experience from day one.

What You'll Do

• Lead all aspects of the restaurant's pre-opening and opening process
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop the entire front-of-house management and hourly team
• Partner with ownership and culinary leadership to establish operational systems and service standards
• Build a positive, hospitality-focused culture centered around teamwork and accountability
• Drive guest satisfaction while maintaining high standards of food, beverage, and service quality
• Manage labor, scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor regulations
• Develop the restaurant into one of the area's premier dining destinations

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience opening one or more full-service restaurants is required
• 5+ years of successful General Manager experience in an upscale casual, gastropub, or polished casual restaurant
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Proven ability to recruit and retain top hospitality talent
• Excellent financial acumen, including P&L management, labor control, and cost management
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• High energy, hands-on leadership style with outstanding communication skills
