General Manager

Responsibilities include:

• Learn the granite and marble industry, fabrication processes and customer relations.  Look for ways to improve processes currently in place.
• Increasing revenue through new marketing efforts, attracting new customers.
• H.R. / staff accountability – this relates to the shop, office, and subcontractors.    
• Setting strategic, operational and financial goals with the staff and tracking these goals daily.
• Recruiting / hiring / training and accountability for all positions within the organization.  
• Ordering and maintaining slab inventory and managing costs.  Review market pricing regularly and making necessary adjustments; related to both fabrication and material costs.  Reducing and minimizing costs in all areas.    
• Culture.  Lead by example and get buy in from all employees and subcontractors.  Maintains positive attitude.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and assist in resolving escalated customer concerns without impact to production or sacrificing quality.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years management experience, preferably in a related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, but not required. 
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills necessary.  
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Suite products.
• Full Time position, M-F
• Basic Quickbooks knowledge is preferred

Pay $75,000 + depending on experience.
