About the Role:
Redondo Beach Grocery Outlet is looking for a dynamic and driven General Manager to lead our store operations and inspire a high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a thriving retail grocery environment in the heart of Redondo Beach, CA. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day store operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop store associates and department leads
• Manage inventory control, ordering, and merchandising to maximize sales and minimize shrink
• Monitor store financial performance including sales, labor costs, and budgets
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health regulations, and company policies
• Build strong relationships with customers and the local Redondo Beach community
• Drive promotional strategies and in-store marketing to boost revenue

Requirements:

• 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in grocery or food retail
• Proven track record of leading teams and driving store performance
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and P&L oversight
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or GED required
