Final Mile Providers (FMP) is a growing 3PL logistics company seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our daily operations.
Job Summary: The General Manager will oversee daily 3PL operations, ensuring efficient delivery execution, strong team performance, excellent customer service, and compliance with operational standards. This role will coordinate dispatch, delivery teams, warehouse staff, administrative support, and client representatives to maintain service quality and achieve performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily last-mile and 3PL operations.
Coordinate dispatch, delivery teams, warehouse staff, and administrative support.
Monitor delivery performance and resolve operational issues.
Maintain strong communication with client representatives and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and client requirements.
Monitor operational metrics, service quality, and team performance.
Promote accountability and provide leadership to operational staff.
Support cost control and operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvement.
Ensure high standards of customer service and professional execution.
Requirements:
Previous experience in logistics, transportation, last-mile delivery, or 3PL operations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational performance.
Ability to hold teams accountable and resolve issues effectively.
Comfortable working with operational systems and reporting tools.
Positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
Reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
