| Physical: | Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees. Must be able to read and write clearly and effectively. Must exhibit well-paced mobility to visit various departments of the facility in keeping with the daily demands of the position. Must be able to drive a vehicle, travel by airplane, inspect all premises, and be able to assist a guest in an emergency situation. Must have valid driver's license and insurability for driving. |

| Relationships: | All hotel and CHMI staff, guests, local relationships, and franchise representatives. |
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Set policies and processes
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Oversee the recruitment and training of new employees
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
SKILLS:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
