This position is with an independently owned and operated McDonald's franchise restaurant. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald's USA and is solely responsible for employment matters at this restaurant, including hiring, discipline, supervision, staffing, scheduling, and termination.

McDonald's USA does not control employment decisions at this restaurant and will not receive your employment application or participate in the hiring process.

What You'll Do

The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the restaurant, including maintaining McDonald's standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Responsibilities may include:

• Leading the restaurant management team and overall restaurant operations
• Establishing restaurant goals and developing plans to achieve them
• Driving sales, profitability, and operational performance
• Ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service
• Maintaining food quality, food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
• Coaching and developing Department Managers and other restaurant leaders
• Setting expectations and following up on management team performance
• Hiring, training, and developing Managers and Crew Members
• Ensuring the restaurant is appropriately staffed and prepared to meet business needs
• Managing restaurant systems, processes, and results
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing action plans
• Building a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and employee development

Lead & Develop Your Management Team

General Managers do not run the restaurant alone. An important part of the role is developing a strong team of Department and Shift Managers who can effectively lead different areas of the restaurant.

The General Manager helps Managers establish goals, monitors their progress, and provides coaching and direction to improve performance. Developing strong leaders helps strengthen the entire restaurant and prepares the organization for future growth.

What We're Looking For

Previous General Manager experience is preferred, particularly experience leading a high-volume operation. Quick-service restaurant experience is strongly desired, although management experience in hospitality, retail, or another fast-paced customer service environment may also be considered.
