General Manager Boutique Wellness Studio
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee sales and operations for a high-end boutique wellness studio. The ideal candidate will quickly learn the business, maintain a high standard of excellence, drive studio sales revenue and support strong member retention.
This role is highly sales-focused, with approximately
8090% of the position dedicated to sales and business development and 1020% to staff management and studio operations. The General Manager will drive growth by developing a strong team, ensuring consistent execution of the sales process, and generating new leads through community partnerships, grassroots outreach and pop-up events.
Understanding the Unique Nature of This Role
This is not a traditional fitness facility management position. Rather than overseeing a large facility with thousands of members, the General Manager leads sales and business development in an exclusive boutique environment while ensuring a personalized, high-touch client experience.
The ideal candidate brings polish and professionalism when interacting with discerning clients accustomed to attentive service. The position requires exceptional multitasking at the front desk, including welcoming and checking in prospective clients, delivering sales presentations, monitoring service quality, coaching staff, managing communications across multiple channels, and maintaining consistent client and community outreach.
We are looking for a motivated self-starter who understands lead generation and the sales funnel, thrives in a high-touch environment, and is motivated by performance-based rewards. The right candidate will build brand awareness and strong relationships with clients, local organizations and businesses using an approachable sales style that educates, informs and builds trust.
