JOB DESCRIPTION: The Choral Music Teacher/Choir Director is responsible for planning and delivering highquality choral music instruction for middle and/or high school students. The teacher will develop students' vocal technique, music literacy, and performance skills while fostering an appreciation for choral music aligned with Alabama Course of Study standards.

Bachelor's Degree in Music Education or related field from an accredited college or university Valid Alabama Class B Professional Educator Certificate in Music (or eligibility to obtain) Ability to meet suitability criteria for employment and pass required background checks
