Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our General Neurologist, you will help patients resolve complex neurological conditions so they can live their fullest, healthiest lives.

Every day you will diagnose and treat a comprehensive range of conditions affecting the brain, spine, and nervous system. You will be expected to leverage advanced techniques and technologies to provide highest quality neurological care with compassion and expertise.

To be successful in this role, you must be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and committed to patient-centered care.

  • Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations including detailed patient history, physical examination, and assessment of neurological function to accurately diagnose a wide range of neurological disorders.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, which may include medication management, lifestyle modifications, referrals for therapy (physical, occupational, speech), or other interventions.
  • Interpret and act upon diagnostic test results such as MRI, CT scans, EEG, EMG/NCS, and laboratory tests to inform diagnosis, treatment decisions, and patient management.
  • Provide ongoing patient care and management for chronic neurological conditions, including monitoring disease progression, adjusting treatments, and educating patients and families about their conditions.
  • Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team including primary care physicians, neurosurgeons, radiologists, therapists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements, including documentation of patient encounters, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Doctorate In MD or DO
  • (Requires specific number of years experience - please provide if applicable, otherwise this line would be omitted or noted as "N/A experience type")
  • Active Medical Doctor (MD) license in the State of Colorado
  • Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Neurology by an acceptable board.
  • Successful completion of a Residency or Fellowship commensurate with Neurology.
  • Ability to Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system.
