Job Title: General Office Clerk 1 –GENOC1
Location: Birmingham, AL 35203 (Onsite)
Duration: 06/01/2026 –04/01/2027
Pay Rate: $17.10/hr
Shift Timings: 1st shift
 
Job Description:
Provide clerical and administrative support to ensure smooth office operations, including data entry, document handling, scheduling support, and general office coordination for O&M and capital activities.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate data entry in spreadsheets, databases, and systems
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail, packages, and distribution
  • File, scan, photocopy, and maintain organized records
  • Greet visitors and assist with front desk support
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and events
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory tracking
  • Support time entry for DCC employees
  • Maintain clean and organized office environment
 
Key Skills Required:
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, data entry tools)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage routine administrative tasks
  • Professional customer service mindset
  • Organizational and multitasking ability
 
Education Required:
