Paint Prep Specialist
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Paint Prep Specialist to prepare metal parts for painting and powder coating by precisely masking areas with tape, plugs, and caps. This is a great role for patient individuals who thrive in hands-on, highly accurate work.
Key Responsibilities
Review & Mask: Read blueprints to identify unpainted surfaces and accurately apply masking materials to large batches.
Organize & Inspect: Track parts by job number, remove masking post-paint, and verify protected areas stayed clean.
Stage: Safely move completed batches to paint staging areas.
Work Environment & Physical Needs
Physical: Ability to stand at a workstation for your shift, perform repetitive precision tasks, and lift 5–20 lbs safely.
Environment: Clean, relatively quiet shop with adjustable workstations to minimize strain.
Safety: Must wear required PPE (e.g., cut-resistant/rubber gloves) and follow all safety and team-lifting guidelines.
Qualifications
High attention to detail and strong manual dexterity.
Ability to consistently follow visual instructions and work specs.
Experience: Entry-level candidates eager to learn are encouraged to apply! Prior manufacturing, masking, or assembly experience is a plus.
Deburr Technician

Key Responsibilities
Deburr: Remove sharp edges and burrs from parts using files, scrapers, and grinders.
