General Shop Labor
Job Location: Gold River, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $19-$20/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6am-2:15pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience working in a shop or warehouse environment? We are looking for a dependable General Shop Laborer to assist with production operations for at least a 5-week assignment.
In this role, you'll support the production team by preparing lumber for cutting, moving, materials throughout the shop, and keeping the assembly line supplied with materials needed to maintain production.
Job Responsibilities:
- Load and prepare lumber for the cutting process
- Transport material to the assembly line
- Assist production staff with general shop duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Perform other general labor tasks as assigned
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a well established shipping company in Gold River, California.
Experience Required:
- Previous shop, warehouse, construction, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a dynamic production environment
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to commit to the full 5-week assignment
