Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Epic experience is required.
Requirements:
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <40 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Hackensack Meridian Health.

Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.
Required Credentials: Graduate of an approved Ultrasound School. 2 years training in Allied Health/College. ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with Breast (BR) specialty or equivalent breast ultrasound credential.
Unit Details: Breast ultrasound imaging and scanning techniques; targeted breast ultrasound examinations; axillary ultrasound evaluation; breast lesion measurement and documentation; identification of benign and malignant breast findings; BI-RADS® ultrasound descriptors; Doppler ultrasound application; and breast implant evaluation. Ultrasound-guided breast biopsy assistance, Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) procedure support, cyst aspiration procedure support, specimen handling and labeling, and contrast-enhanced ultrasound knowledge where applicable. Performs portable ultrasound exams and assists with biopsy, deep abdominal studies, and color-flow ultrasound. Includes image optimization and quality assurance, quality control and quality assurance documentation, and ACR and MQSA compliance as applicable to breast imaging programs. Uses Tele tracking System, PACS image management, digital image acquisition and archiving, and patient scheduling.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required. No on-call required. Overtime as needed to provide continual quality patient care.
7 days maximum time off
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS))
