Our company is seeking a seasoned Permanent General Superintendent with a focus on healthcare construction to join our team. This role is critical to our organization as you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of healthcare construction projects from start to finish. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities. This position provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of unique, complex projects.

Responsibilities: Position will over Lead 6-10 Superintendents NOT a Project. Must enjoy Training and support of Superintendents.

  • Direct and control the project's design and construction, ensuring that the work is performed in accordance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of healthcare construction projects, including remodels, renovations, and new builds.
  • Implement and enforce ICRA training and construction protocols, ensuring all staff adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
  • Coordinate and supervise the installation of MRI and CT machines, ensuring compliance with manufacturer's guidelines and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and healthcare personnel, to ensure project goals are met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Manage and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the construction process.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a superintendent role within the construction industry, with a strong preference for candidates with healthcare construction experience.
  • Proven experience with remodels, renovations, ICRA training and construction, and the installation of MRI and CT machines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, equipment, materials, and safety practices.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions quickly and effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with project stakeholders.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
