Overview

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon with robotic training/experience to join our established surgical team at AdventHealth Palm Coast and AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway in Palm Coast, Florida. This is an opportunity to practice in a growing coastal community with block time, a high volume of robotic cases, APP support, and a collaborative team model. MIS training is a plus.

Practice Highlights

• Established team of 4 general surgeons
• Robotic Center of Excellence and ranked number 1 among 120 Florida hospitals for after-hour robotic cases
• Full-scope general surgery with a focus on complex robotic surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, colon surgery, and foregut surgery
• Block time and access to ORs with the latest da Vinci robotic platform
• Access to outpatient surgery center on site
• Strong ICU support with experienced intensivists and APPs providing 24/7 coverage
• Clinic located on the same property as the hospital
• Shared call coverage with community physicians for a balanced emergent call and weekend rotation
• EPIC EMR with built-in AI scribe
• Employed hospitalist team and strong referral base from local primary care and AdventHealth Medical Group specialists
• Great support system with local surgeons performing complex robotic HPB cases, colorectal, foregut, and abdominal wall reconstruction

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general surgery care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform complex robotic surgery, foregut surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, and colon surgery
• Deliver a broad range of general surgery procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, APPs, hospitalists, and specialty colleagues
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care
