We are seeking a full-time General Surgeon to join its critical access hospital in Kane, PA. Shift / Schedule

- Busy procedural volume with opportunity to grow to approximately 80–100 procedures per month
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of general surgery procedures including laparoscopic surgeries, cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, and enterectomies
- Manage surgical patients from consultation through post-operative care
- Provide care within a solo practice setting while collaborating with hospital staff and regional clinics
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and coordination of care
- Handle admissions and coordinate care directly within UPMC Kane
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care in a rural community
- Grow and develop the surgical practice through increasing procedural volume
- Maintain continuity of care and strong patient relationships
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
- DEA certification required
- Ability to work independently in a solo practice environment
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and community engagement
