The Division of General Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University is seeking a community-based general surgeon to join our growing faculty. This position will be based primarily at Saint Anne’s Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts, with potential practice opportunities at other Brown-affiliated hospitals across the health system. The position will be primarily clinical, caring for patients with the full spectrum of general surgical diseases. In addition, there are opportunities to contribute to the academic mission of Brown University. The Division is proud to support both a General Surgery Residency and an MIS Fellowship, although there are not currently rotations at St. Anne’s Hospital.

The Department of Surgery has 12 divisions and practices at 5 Brown University Health Hospitals. Brown University Health has a growing network of over 850 providers and offers a multitude of services that encompass medical areas such as internal medicine, emergency medicine, primary care, psychiatry and behavioral health, women’s medicine, urgent care, and specialty services including cardiology, gastroenterology, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and ophthalmology.
