General Surgeon

Providence Saint Johns Health Center is seeking a fellowship-trained Surgical Oncologist/General Surgeon to join a collaborative team delivering high-acuity cancer and general surgery care with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques and innovation. The role offers a mix of clinic, surgery, and research, supported by a strong care team infrastructure and close alignment with Saint Johns Cancer Institute.

Position Details:

• GME faculty member for at least 2 or more years and must be board certified in General Surgery
• Requires fellowship program trained for Surgical Oncology
• Perform procedures with robotic surgery preferred and a focus on minimally invasive surgery
• Maintain an efficient outpatient practice averaging 10 to 12 patients per day, with 30-minute visits for both new and returning patients
• Participate in a role that blends clinic, surgeries, and research
• Share call responsibilities with an expectation of approx. 2 calls per month and availability for urgent/emergent inpatient consults and surgeries when on call
• Compensation is between $480,092 and $601,665 per year

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
