Job Summary:

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking to recruit a General Surgery focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) for employment to a busy General Surgery group based in the north Houston suburb community of North Cypress.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Acute care APP training and experience with general surgery is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical license.
  • Ability to communicate general surgery plans with primary team.
  • Maintenance of acute care certification.

About the Opportunity/Hospital:
  • Hours are roughly 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday, but some days may start earlier, or end later.
  • Duties include rounding on inpatient general surgery patients as a consult service, evaluating patients before and after procedures.
  • Two days of clinic per week.
  • Operating Room participation welcomed but not required.
