General Warehouse Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day warehouse operations. This is a hands-on position responsible for loading and unloading freight, moving and organizing inventory, preparing shipments, and assisting with general warehouse labor. This is a long-term temporary position looking to start ASAP!

Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm OR Tuesday – Saturday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Compensation: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload freight, shipments, pallets, and other materials.
• Move, stage, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, sorting, and storing incoming freight.
• Prepare outbound shipments and ensure freight is properly handled and secured.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, as applicable.
• Assist with picking, packing, labeling, and shipping activities.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
• Assist warehouse team members with general labor and other operational tasks as needed.
• Accurately handle freight and materials to minimize damage and ensure proper shipment.
• Support other warehouse and logistics activities based on business needs.
  

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or general labor experience required.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Experience in a freight forwarding, logistics, distribution, or transportation warehouse preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy materials.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and perform physical warehouse duties.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
