Shop Helper
Automation Personnel Services is hiring two full-time Shop Helpers to support operations in our Tomball manufacturing facility. Each role has a different focus, but both require reliability, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.

Pay Rate
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 07:00AM to 04:30PM (sometimes OT available as well)

Shop Helper Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with carpentry tasks in the catering and facility support area
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Support general shop tasks as needed
- Operate a band saw for material cutting
- Assist with shop tasks such as staging materials, moving parts, and supporting machine operators
- Perform deburring, grinding, and basic prep work (common shop-helper duties)
Shop Helper Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely around machinery
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
