JOB DESCRIPTION |
|
| Role and Responsibilities - Following instructions from mill operators and managers/supervisors
- Safely operating a variety of power tools including electric and pneumatic
- Ability to safely operate a forklift/Combi lift.
- Checking fluids on equipment (forklift/Combi Lift)
- Banding and clearing all lines and placing products in storage racks
- Fill orders using a pick ticket with an RF scanner.
- Ensuring product is damage free and piece counts and color match order.
- Assisting in unloading & loading of C/C trucks and will calls as needed.
- Following all safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Assisting other departments as needed and or directed by a managers/supervisors

| Qualifications and Education Requirements - Clean Background
- Drug Screen
- Experience working in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
- Ability to read a tape measure and do basic math.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- High school diploma or GED
| | | Physical Demands and Work Environment: - Must be able to read, hear, talk, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and/or walk approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shift.
- Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months.
- Noise level is moderate to loud.
