Job description: Associate is responsible for assisting with scheduled inventory counts to ensure accurate inventory records. This temporary position requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse or retail environment, and the ability to follow inventory procedures.
Job Responsibilities
Perform physical counts of inventory, materials, and products.
Scan items using handheld barcode scanners or RF devices.
Verify inventory quantities and identify discrepancies.
Record count results accurately using inventory systems or count sheets.
Assist with organizing merchandise before, during, and after inventory.
Label and sort inventory as directed.
Report damaged, missing, or misplaced items to the supervisor.
Follow inventory procedures and company policies.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work efficiently to meet inventory deadlines.
Assist with additional warehouse or stockroom duties as needed.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a warehouse or retail environment.
Comfortable working overtime, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts if required during inventory.
