The Radar Analog and Power Department is seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer with knowledge of generators, analog electronics, power electronics, power systems, and/or control systems. The ideal candidate possesses a strong combination of design, production, or product support experience with generators, mobile generators, control systems, and power distribution systems.

The department is responsible for design engineering, product and production support in the following areas:

• Electric Generator controls & operation engineering for wound-field synchronous generators and excitation controls for both stationery and mobile applications in the range of 30 kW to 3000 kW Electric Generator controls & operation engineering for wound-field synchronous generators and excitation controls for both stationery and mobile applications in the range of 30 kW to 3000 kW

What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years' of prior relevant experience. Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years' of prior relevant experience.

• Experience with safety issues related to working with and servicing rotating electromechanical systems and high voltage systems greater than 500VAC.
