The Generator Technician plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing diesel and gas generators to ensure reliable power supply. Working as an individual contributor within a small team, this role involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and conducting emergency repairs as needed. The technician must be available for standard shifts, on-call rotations, and occasional overtime during emergencies, with additional incentives offered for highly qualified applicants.
Responsibilities
Perform generator maintenance on diesel and gas units
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults
Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid equipment failures
Test equipment and diagnose faults
Execute emergency repairs promptly
Document technical procedures and maintenance activities
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance
Experience with generator maintenance
Electrical troubleshooting capabilities
