What you’ll do:
- Service and repair generators: change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc..
- Perform on-site planned maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and troubleshooting for customers generators (includes DC & AC Voltage equipment).
- Work independently or with a small team and company vehicle servicing residential and commercial standby generators.
- Involves multiple appointments per day.
- Provide excellent customer service, craftsmanship, and attention to detail with your work.
What you’ll bring:
- 2-5 years of experience minimum in a mechanical setting working on 8kw-60kw generators.
- Proven knowledge of preventative maintenance, load bank testing, and engine diagnostics.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and service manual.
- Basic set of tools, specialty tools will be provided.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and work outside.
- Valid driver’s license.
