Overview: Abacus Corporation is building a "Ready-to-Work" talent pipeline for our premier logistics, medical, and technology partners. We offer a variety of schedules including 1st, 2nd, Weekend (AWS), and Part-Time roles. Due to the fast-paced nature of our clients, positions often open with little to no notice. Completing our 3-part onboarding process ensures you are eligible for immediate placement.
ACTIVE JOB SITES & SHIFT AVAILABILITY
Antioch Area – Specialized Technology & Logistics
- Technologies (Soldering/Tech): 1st & 2nd Shifts available. $18–$24/hr. Resume & Interview Required.
- Computer Tech: 1st Shift (7am–3:30pm). Laptop/Phone repair. $16.50–$20.00/hr. Resume & Interview Required.
- Bender (Warehouse/Forklift): 1st Shift (7:30am–4pm). $17.50–$21.00/hr. Select roles require Resume/Interview.
Lebanon & Mt. Juliet – Global Logistics
- FedEx (Government & Commercial): 1st, 2nd, and Weekend (AWS) Shifts. $16.50–$22.50/hr. Note: Some roles require US Citizenship.
- AD : Specialized Part-Time schedule (3 days a week, every other week). Finalizing details—apply now for early consideration.
La Vergne Area – Medical & Distribution
- PM : 1st Shift. $16.50–$18.00/hr. Daytime Interview Required.
- Equipment Operators: 2nd Shift. $20.00/hr. Nighttime Interview Required.

THE 3-PART APPLICATION PROCESS

- Apply: Submit initial application and work history.
- Onboarding: Complete all digital employment and tax paperwork.
- Screening: Pass required background and credentialing checks. Final Requirement: Report to our Smyrna office (105 Jefferson Street) for a Safety Evaluation and Drug Screen.

- Employment Type: All positions are Temp-to-Hire. Permanent hire eligibility depends on hours worked and client-specific policies.
- FedEx 11-Month Rule: Please note that FedEx facilities have an 11-month requirement prior to becoming eligible for permanent hire.
- Interview Requirements: Locations such as AER, Goldie Group, NDC, and Preferred Medical require formal interviews.
- FedEx Policy: Any prior employment at a FedEx facility must be disclosed immediately to avoid onboarding delays.
